Celtic get a lucky draw in Kazakhstan after drawing with Leicester before losing on penalties, in the International Cup.

Next up they play Barcelona tomorrow in Dublin. Messi has promised the defence a torrid time.

That won't be difficult the way they are playing at the moment.

And now Bruce has left apparently, what a farcical situation.

Sorry to hear about that Brucey.

Roberto Martinez appears to be the favourite to replace him. Sunderland managed to replace Allardyce within a day or two, we're taking forever, no urgency despite the season starting soon!

Wisla gives up another three goals, this time in Gdansk. :moon: Terrible trip to the northern part of the country. The speedway boys come through in Manchester however, to win the World Championship, so there'll be some celebrating tonight. Congrats to Great Britain getting the silver.

Reasonable performance by Celtic, in losing 3-1 to Barcelona.

Young Englishman Patrick Roberts( On Loan for 18 months from Man City)

played like he should be turning out for Barcelona.

Can see him being recalled before his loan period is up.

I watched it, it was fairly enjoyable, particularly the first half. Celtic certainly didn't disgrace themselves, and yes I thought Roberts really stood out, he could be a future star.

Gianfranco Zola is now favourite to be the next Hull manager, whilst Newcastle have activated Mo Diame's release clause. The ball is in his court.

I'll be extremely disappointed if he leaves, he's arguably our best player.

I hear Chris Coleman is on Hull's wanted list.

I'd be happy with that, but I can't see him leaving his Welsh post, he's adored there and he will more than likely lead them to World Cup qualification and perhaps more if he were to stay.

I've just seen that we've offered Diame a new deal, hopefully he takes it. I wouldn't blame him if he didn't, though!

Says on the Mirror Site that he is on his way for a medical. Of course, the media say anything at this time of year, knowing fans are desperate for news.

I really hate it, all the baseless speculation.

Local news sites are saying he's been offered a deal and will travel to Austria with the rest of the squad to finish pre season, sources in Newcastle are saying he's off to Newcastle. I'll just have to wait and see!

Jakub Blaszczykowski moves from Dortmund to Wolfsburg.

Fee? in the region of 5 Million Euro.

Yes that's right EPL clubs. A mere 5 Million.

Meanwhile Chelsea are prepared to pay 60 odd million for Lukaku and

Everton have said it's not enough.

Icing on the cake is the announcement that Liverpool City Council has agreed to spend £4m on improvements to Everton Football Club's training ground.

Madness.

Well look at that....

1 Nil to the Imps.

Hopefully that will wake the Celts from their coma.

Just saw this. Irish radio was shredding the team for this performance.
