The ANTI Toto Thread

Recommended Posts

In the beginning David Paich was easily the most important member of the band with Lukather as his secret weapon.

Useless information: When I first got into TOTO the name made me think of Totem, Tonto and Tintin.

I think the real reason they chose the name is in Latin "In Toto" means whole or "all" and this band can play it all!

Ooh this is interesting!

I've always loved their name...it fits them perfectly! Anything is better than the million bands named after cities or states.

All three albums they did in the 80's are great. Quality songs and musicianship, and they're very consistent.

I didn't realise until now (so that's 30 years of not knowing), that Joseph Williams is the composer John Williams' son!

And his mom is Barbra Ruick. famous showbiz broadway and movie singer back in the day.
