The were preceded by Randy California, formerly of the band Spirit. Still didn't buy an album til '78, August, just after a friend died in a car accident.(Mike Stoll, partially why my first wife and I named our first son Michael) I still have the tape I made of his 'Memorial' Party at my BFF's basement room...RUSH was the other participant in those tapes.
