Union 5-3992
His last studio album and his Muddy Wolf album were both phenomenal releases. As the last of the huge blues players pass, Joe is a great guy to carry the genre.
Duke1
He is a FANTASTIC blues and rock guitarist, one of my very favorites. We've got a thread for him buried somewhere in MotS, but damn I love this guy. You and Me, John Henry, and Different Shades Of Blue are three contemporary blues albums worth listening to over and over again. If you're trying to get into him, the best place to start is probably his Royal Albert Hall concert from 2009 or buying one of the three albums I mentioned above. But you really can't go wrong with live Joe. Second that Royal Albert Hall 2009 recommendation, tremendous stuff. Saw him in 2013, great concert, fantastic guitarist. Also recommend Joe with Beth Hart, Live Amsterdam 2013, their version of Etta James "Rather go blind" is superb.
