X-23 - X-Men: Evolution

Is that a good show? I've not seen that one.

I'm gonna look it up now.

It had its moments but overall it was too childlike (it's main purpose though) for me. I haven't seen all of them but I've seen around a dozen or so. However, I think they did well to make Storm & Wolverine teachers at the school instead of teen students like most of the other characters.

Scratch that then!

Yeah, you wouldn't like it. After one episode I wanted to strangle the character Spike who was made specifically for the show. Storm's nephew. And I wanted to strangle him and the writer who thought of him and his stupid lines.

It gets quite good around season 3 when the world discovers the existence of mutants, so they have all the discrimination storylines

What I like most about it is that, just like the 90's show, it's not centred entirely around Wolverine, like all the movies and the aptly title Wolverine and the X-men cartoon are.

There's more of a team dynamic, and everyone gets their chance in the spotlight.

That's good to know. I didn't make it out of season 1 because of the things in my post. I knew that Iceman and Colossus were on the show later but I gave up before that.

I liked much of the 90s show but I had two big issues with it:

1) I'm not a big Rogue fan and she was one of the main characters...essentially replacing Colossus (one of my favorite XMEN)

2) I'm not a fan of Gambit or Bishop either and they got a lot of episode attention.

I only saw one episode of the Wolverine & The X-Men show but it was a good one.

THE best animated Wolverine depiction IMHO was on the DVD "Hulk vs".
