Lorraine
Probably my least favorite Rush album. This + Hold Your Fire = "going too far"... I could just throw a dart...but I'll go Mystic Rhythms. Did you like Presto?
Disembodied Spirit
The "new Rush." Is this around the same time that awful "Coke II" or "New Coke" or whatever it was called came out? Exactly, yes!Mmmmmm invisible cola Who remembers this?

It will go over real big in the other section. Indeed it will. I'm surprised he hasn't started a Pepsi marketing/morale-boosting campaign already, in light of toymaker's comment. :P
toymaker
Sorry, Narps. I'm just a messed-up, addicted slave to the Coca Cola corporation.
EagleMoon
I was completely disillusioned with the band when this album came out. Couldn't listen to it (other than The Big Money) for a LONNNG time. Since this last tour I've listened to it a lot, and I think since so many years have gone by that I can now appreciate it for what it is. It has some really good songs on it, but it's just in no way related to the same band of the pre-Moving Pictures era. That being said, I picked Emotion Detector. It's just really sappy and the synth sounds are really dated.

Cheesy comes to mind too. But it has some reoccurring music in it that I like. Edited April 3, 2015 by Lorraine
LedRush
Anything on side 2...perhaps the worst stretch of 4 songs the band has ever made.

toymaker
This poll may have to remain open longer than usual . . . no song seems to be taking a huge lead yet. Oh . . . I guess some of us posted at the same time! Edited April 3, 2015 by toymaker

It's very good yes...I read a review of the album from a fan on iTunes once which said that the solo on Emotion Detector was the best solo Alex had ever done, and I certainly don't agree with that...but yeah, it is definitely good, in my view. Lorraine
A question for long time guitarists here - did your fingers lose nimbleness as you got older? What I'm asking is - can you move them as fast as you used to?
