You suppose this is a drawback to having a president and vice president whose wealths come from oil?
rushengal
I remember a simpler time when $25 could get a car from Kingston to Montreal and a quick top up of $10 for the return with some to spare. Now it's upwords of $45-$55 for the same trip.... one way. Long weekends are the worst time to travel... prices sky rocket. Back in the day (when I was like 8 years old) I remembered when $.55 was expensive and $.48 was the norm (note... all these are in Canadian $$$)
yyzena
I have a 92 Olds Toronado and I always fill her up to $21.12. Right now that is about 3/4 tank. About 5 or 6 years ago, I remember it was during the summer, gas was between 95-99 cents/gallon. $21.12 would've gotten me from here to Mars!!
