Test For Echo. People say that every song on the album sucks just because a couple songs have bad lyrics, and then they make excuses on hating them. Test For Echo wouldn't be high on my list... but the hate... :banghead:

If was recorded better and left off the filler last three tracks plus Peaceable Kingdom (latter day Rush albums were all at least two or three songs too long) , Vapor Trails would or should be ranked much higher than many fans consider

Rush's final three albums were all one step forward/one step back...

Vapor Trails had good lyrics and songs and energy but a bad sound.

Snakes had a good sound but bad lyrics and songs and little energy.

Clockwork had bad sound and songwriting but was ambitious and a good attempt at another '70s style prog concept album.

 

If only the best aspects of all three of those subpar records were taken and put into one great one...
