Narps
I know there are craploads of threads around here like this one but I really enjoy seeing what folks tastes are. You get 10 albums you can listen to for the rest of your days. Thats it. What and who will it be? The trick here is you can only pick one album from any band or artist. Here are my picks as difficult as it is. No. 1 is the only easy one for me.... :haz: 1. Rush All The Worlds A Stage 2. Yes Going For The One 3. UFO Strangers In The Night 4. Judas Priest Sad Wings Of Destiny 5. Scorpions In Trance 6. Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti 7. Van Halen Van Halen 8. AC/DC Let There Be Rock 9. Styx The Grand Illusion 10. Journey Infinity There are so many recordings from these bands that I love but I could choose one. I think truthfully Yes is the hardest for me to choose from. Ask me tomorrow it it may be Tormato or Close To The Edge or a few others... :)

bathory
I couldn't narrow it down to 10, and nah, my all-time favorite stuff is pretty easy to swallow. I like death metal and all that but stuff like sabbath and maiden's more important for me as far as metal goes
bathory
besides, I'd probably have to take it genre by genre. and then subgenre by subgenre
bathory
as far as more "extreme" metal I'd definitely have some bathory on the list though
Narps
I was going to put Yes on mine too... Genesis also. Those would have rounded out my top 12.It was the big 12 at first but I had it all done and hit a wrong button and everything disappeared :sigh: . I was so pissed and I had to start all over and laziness kicked in and I made it only 10.... I think I had Ted Nugent Double Live Gonzo and Moxy Moxy1 on there to begin with. These were big albums to me in my youth. I could listen to Great White Buffalo and Stranglehold live all day.... :) Edited May 6, 2014 by Narpski
Lorraine
Rush - Moving PicturesThe Moody Blues - Seventh SojournThe Rolling Stones - Beggar's BanquetSteely Dan - AjaAlice Cooper - Billion Dollar BabiesThe Police - SynchronicityJoe Jackson - Beat CrazyThe Doors - Soft ParadeThe Who - QuadropheniaYes - Close To The Edge This was tough. I know there might be a few others that I would take in lieu of the ones I have mentioned, but since I no longer have my albums, and my memory, especially when it concerns anything to do with the eighties, is pretty useless, this is the best I could do, all things considered. :)
