The Buffalo Bills are not as bad as you think they are

Only 2 teams have scored more than 20 points in each of their regular season games.

The Denver Broncos and the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills are near the top of the league in interceptions.

They have been in every game this year.

Will they make the playoffs, Here is their remaining schedule:

Oct 27

@

New Orleans

Nov 3

vs

Kansas City

Nov 10

@

Pittsburgh

Nov 17

vs

New York

12 BYE WEEK

Dec 1

vs

Atlanta

Dec 8

@

Tampa Bay

15 Sun, Dec 15

@

Jacksonville

Dec 22

vs

Miami

Dec 29

@

New England

Will they beat the Saints? No. Will they make it close, closer than most people here would give them? Absolutely.

Then after New Orleans, they play the Chiefs in Buffalo. Do not be surprised if that's the Chiefs first loss.

At Pittsburgh, Jets in Buffalo? Possible wins.

Then the Bye Week.

Do they beat Atlanta in Toronto? Probably not.

Then Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Miami.

Finishing out the season in New England.

9-7 or 10-6 is not outside the realm of possibility. That could get them a wild card. (Could).

The Bills could make the playoffs this year.

Remember, this isn't the 2010, or 2011 Bills. This is a different bunch.

Here's my estimate of their chances.

at NO 5% chance of winning

vs KC 25% chance of winning

at Pit 30% chance of winning

vs NYJ 60% chance of winning

vs Atl 60% chance of winning (the Toronto stadium is like a morgue)

at TB 85% chance of winning

at Jax 90% chance of winning

vs Mia 50% chance of winning

at NE 10% chance of winning if the Pats are playing for something, 50% chance of winning if they're not Then again the last time the Bills had a chance at making the playoffs in 2004 they lost to the Steelers who were playing for nothing.

This means that on average I expect them to win 4-5 more games, which puts them at 7-9 or 8-8, so they're likely to fall short. Their chances improve quite a bit if Manuel comes back and they get some truly healthy RBs. They should have lost yesterday and would have if Tannehill wasn't a turnover machine.

at NO 5% chance of winning - Agreed

vs KC 25% chance of winning - Disagree. The Bills will be one of the first true test the Chiefs will see this year.

at Pit 30% chance of winning - Should be higher. 55% to 60%.

vs NYJ 60% chance of winning - Agreed

vs Atl 60% chance of winning (the Toronto stadium is like a morgue) - I don't think the Bills will do that good. They historically suck in Toronto.

at TB 85% chance of winning - Agreed

at Jax 90% chance of winning - Agreed

vs Mia 50% chance of winning - Agreed

I still say 9-7 or 10-6, with the playoffs an outside possibility.

It took an idiotic decision by the head coach of the Bucs (is he the former head coach yet?) for the Saints to beat the Bucs in Tampa.

Schiano and the Bucs still have their 0 firmly intact like an ugly teen prom virgin's hymen.

Watch the Falcons play. They truly suck.

Well, the Bills killed the Chiefs today in terms of yards from scrimmage and defensive play. Only holding the Chiefs offense to 3 points.

That's what turnovers can do to ya...

Any time you have the ball at the 1 and get a pick 6 it's difficult to overcome. It would be fascinating to see what the record is for teams who've had the ball inside the 5 and thrown a pick six at any point during the game. I'd bet it's under 10% that have been able to overcome it.

The Bills could have realistically beaten the Chiefs but the self-inflicted errors killed them. Another win that makes the Chiefs appear a lot better than they really are.

Great win for the Bills over the Jets. Come on Buffalo!

Agreed!

They could easily win their next three and get to 7-7...

Bon Jovi to buy Bills?

The Buffalo Bills are tasting bad medicine again during what will be a 14th consecutive season without a playoff trip, livin' on a prayer since 1999. Might the remedy be a rocking new owner?

According to CBS Sports, Jon Bon Jovi is interested in buying the Buffalo Bills. The Bills, currently owned by 95-year-old Ralph Wilson, would be up for purchase when Wilson passes away. Bon Jovi is emerging as the best competition to Rogers Communications Group.

Who says you can't go home? Bon Jovi is proud of his blue-collar New Jersey heritage, is buddies with New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and once owned part of the Arena league's Philadelphia Soul. Although Buffalo is no bed of roses, the Bills are his only upcoming chance to buy a huge stake in the NFL.

He's always been a big football fan, and he should keep the faith that he can outbid Rogers, even if he's not the runaway favorite. Given his pursuit while Wilson is going on Year 53, it's something Bon Jovi has wanted (waaaaaanted) dead or alive for a long time.

Shouldn't a Bruce Springsteen wannabe with an album called New Jersey be buying the Jets or the Giants?

Well, the Bills are going for the trifecta next week.

Atlanta

Tampa Bay

Jacksonville

Of course, the Jags now have the same record as the Bills (as do the Bucs).
