Good morning.

My wife is in Newry today. She has a meeting in Belfast but due to the Irish Dance Championships she can't get a hotel there. Must admit I had the best night's sleep I've had for ages in an empty bed. ohmy.gif

Hope you all have a great day today.

Not the best start to the day....

First morning on board the rig, and I sleep in! Had some urgent stuff at 7am to do as well, so was like a half-shut knife until my first coffee....

My wife had a great time in Northern Ireland this week. Everytime she goes she brings me back a print from a photograher called Michael Walsh. He takes some fantastic pics of the landscape of Northern ireland and we're putting them up in our kitchen.

Really nice pics Plod.....what's the fascination with NI? smile.gif

I've never seen his work before - pretty cool

It's so refreshing to see these pics of NI and not the murals in the city areas and the 'troubles' of days gone by smile.gif

Which one's did you get?

We do that as well...everytime we visit somewhere different, we would buy a sketch or picture which are unusual - nice to display in the house smile.gif

We saw some of his work displayed in The Millenium Centre (New Arts centre in Cardiff. Click on the building link. It really is a beautiful place.) and when Tina spotted some in a shop she decided to buy some.

We have this one:

and two others: One of Mount Errigal, Co. Donegal, and a waterfall in Easkey Co. Antrim.

I just love looking at beautiful scenery.

Tina goes to NI with the BBC. They have meetings in Belfast and Glasgow so we have Scots and Irish visiting us too.
