rushfanforever! Now we need to save another $20 odd million sorting out Harper, Vilma and Will Smith. This kinda shit just drives this accountant nuts!!!! What happened to the budgeting/forecasting beforehand...oh, I know...shit right out the window!!! Creative accounting...just two steps away from Enron, WorldCom, etc....but answers this question: What do you want the final number to be? :rage: The GM's are all accountants I think, except the ones who are not... Yeah, the "fly by the seat of your pants" kind...no thank you!!!

And what's "VINT", or shouldn't I ask?Well we know what the EW is I think... VINT & EW...what do these mean?? Sorry, I don't follow the draft that closely.... VINT = very interested EW = East West Shrine game Thanks Duckie!!! To me, most rookies are overrated so I don't pay much attention to them! Case in point, RGIII..he blew his knee in his first pro season? Playing too aggressively trying to prove that he's a hotshot...please!!!!.....There's a big difference between college and pro football IMO. :ebert:  :hi: He can buy some plastic knees with his big paycheck can't he? Polythene, then he can be called RG(C2H4)nH2! :LMAO: Duckie, never knew you were into chemistry! Seriously, all of his $$$ doesn't make a difference to me..he's too full of himself...careful, his knees might melt with all the pressure...then what? :laughing yellow guy:The Redskins are wishing they'd drafted Russell Wilson, no knee problems, no draft picks sent to the Rams! Lesson Not Learned: Be wary of the rookie hotshot; he might crash and burn on you!! :laughing guy: :laughing guy:

treeduck
Saints reach three-year deal with Junior Galette Posted by Mike Wilkening on March 9, 2013, 12:46 PM EST The Saints and outside linebacker Junior Galette have agreed in principle on a three-year contract, the club announced Saturday. The 6-foot-2, 258-pound Galette logged a career-best five sacks in 12 games (one start) for the Saints in 2012. He was a prospective restricted free agent. Galette, who turns 25 later this month, is moving from defensive end to outside linebacker in the Saints’ new 3-4 scheme, the club said. He has recorded 9.5 sacks in three NFL seasons. Saints tender Chris Ivory at second-round level Posted by Mike Wilkening on March 8, 2013, 8:04 PM EST Getty ImagesThe Saints have one of the NFL’s deepest backfields, and they have moved to keep their strong depth intact. According to Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Saints have tendered restricted free-agent running back Chris Ivory at the second-round level. Ivory, who doesn’t turn 25 until March 22, was an undrafted free agent, so the Saints had to give him one of the higher RFA tenders to get any draft-pick compensation if he were to depart New Orleans. By giving Ivory a one-year contract offer, the Saints retain their right to match an offer sheet to him. Ivory (6-0, 222) has flashed potential in his first three NFL seasons, gaining 5.1 yards per carry. His age and relative lack of work (256 regular-season carries) are assets in a game tough on its running backs. That said, he has battled various injuries in his pro career. Wasn't he just fined by Goodhell for hitting the open market?? I think we could be interested, but it depends how much money he wants. He's what 35? And he's obviously not as good as he used to be. And where's the new Dolphins thread?$6 to $6.5 for a second or third receiver seems like a lot. I'm afraid we might not get anyone at wideout. I've heard Wallace (who I would like to have) is pricing himself out of the market. Though these are the guys the Fins usually jump at so we'll probably get, and overpay for him.
