Dscrapre
R40 and that's it. No "farewell tour". They're not going to say it's the last, but it will be.
ouchithurts
Geddy leaves Rush in 2015, goes to rabbinical school and becomes a Rabbi on the Lower East Side. He also buys a deli and serves the best corned beef sandwiches this side of the Mississippi. Neil, having seen Geddy finally living his dream, rebuffs the last of the sexual advances from Mosbach and takes over from a drugged deranged Drew Carey and becomes the new host of The Price is Right. Alex, all alone now, seeing the growth in Cougar and MILF genre adult video becomes a serviceable and well paid porno actor in such movies. Alex becomes quite the rage at local senior centers in which the ladies there, having come of age in the women's lib movement, have tea parties in which they love to watch him perform on aforementioned Cougars and MILF's. Alex, taking advantage of this popularity tours North America's senior centers, assisted living communities, and nursing homes, perform at CFNM parties. Chicken hawk
I think they are gonna take two years off. They are getting older and probably need more time off. They will work on Getting some ideas for the next album. That would be a wise choice. I dont want them to retire!!
LedRush
One year off, a couple of singles, another tour, an album, then another tour.

GernTheFish
Well, I think they'll eventually get in the RRHOF and take 2 years off. Actually, I think they'll take more than 2 off. I think they'll retire and stop recording/touring all together. Just a feeling. Didn't see a poll selection for this, so I didn't vote.
Mystic Rythm
I went with start work on their 21st album because they have been very adament that they are writing and playing better than they ever have and I think they are enjoying it much more now. Strike while the irons hot. If not a 21st album then something like the Time Machine tour rather than an R40 IMO.
NinjaDiscoPunch
There's a Dutch band called the Golden Earring that's been plugging away since '61. Rush has been around since what, '68? And they've been touring on a fairly regular basis, with a hiatus or two. My thoughts are they will tour until their induction into the Hall of Fame, go on a tour following their induction (the "Limelight" tour, perhaps, given all the attention they've been getting recently...). Then they'll crank out a few singles, one of which is easily recognizable due to a slight deviation from the usual Rush sound, then totally blow us all away in 2020 with another BIG release. Like, 'three albums in one' big, to justify an eight-year break. With eight instrumentals. At this point maybe we've invented some way to extend human life to, say 300 years (or not). So Rush regains their late-70s youth and annihilate the music industry with their 144th anniversary album and several supporting tours, and they'll continue endlessly rocking...
