GeddyLeeRoth
I love the CA setlist, and it was the best Rush show I've seen since at least R30. But with the lack of 70s stuff, I ponder a much different set for a very opportunistic upcoming R40 Tour. I'm going to lie to myself for the next 18 months and fantasize such a tour's setlist would look something like this... Headlong Flight Marathon Time Stand Still The Spirit Of Radio New World Man Vapor Trails Where's My Thing? A Farewell To Kings Xanadu Anthem Limelight Clockwork Angels The Anarchist Show Don't Tell The Main Monkey Business/Drum Solo The Wreckers The Enemy Within Hemispheres (w/out first 2 min. of pV. Cygnus) Jacobs Ladder The Necromancer (5:18-8:45 jam) Far Cry Tom Sawyer A Passage To Bangkok Finding My Way

I mean....seriously??????? Oh stop it....you are killing me here - milk is pouring out of my nose I am laughing so hard..... Look they can't tour for ever, they need to tour now while they still are able to physically. They need to make enough $$$ so they can have the best retirement they can which is right around the corner. I think R40 is very possible. The 2nd leg of the CA tour will be in the spring and early summer of 2013, that leave nearly 9-10 month before they can embark on a new tour in the summer of 2014. R40 will happen! Regardless of all the negativity you guys displace.

sb2112
Think about this for a second. Not only will the band have toured in 2012 and 2013, they also toured in 2010 and 2011. On top of that, they have toured every year since 2007, with the exception of 2009. By the time this tour ends, that will be six of the last seven years. Expecting them to tour again when they've done this much already is so unrealistic.

losingit2k
Well Considering they'll probably get into the RRHOF next year I think they'll tour with all their hits: Set 1: R40 Instrumedley: (Working Man, Fly By Night, Bastile Day, A Passage to Bangkok, Cygnus X-1, Hemispheres-Prelude, Jacob's Ladder) Limelight Caravan Stick it Out Driven (With Bass Solo) Malignant Narcissim (Drum Solo #1) One Little Victory Freewill Far Cry Headlong Flight Set 2: Dreamline The Big Money Test For Echo Time Stand Still Red Barchetta Mystic Rhythms Show Don't Tell Distant Early Warnings YYZ Skin Trade (New Drum solo by Neil) Alex's Solo/ The Trees La Villa Strangiatto Xanadu Encore: The Spirit of Radio Tom Sawyer 2112 Overture/Temples/ Finale Encore#2" Closer to the Heart (Extended)
