Hatchetaxe&saw
I love most of them, but Moonraker was pure dribble, A View To A Kill was horrid and Timothy Dalton should never have gotten the gig. And I won't hear a bad word said about Octopussy! It's in the "so awful it's brilliant" category. Looking forward to Skyfall.

And I won't hear a bad word said about Octopussy! It's in the "so awful it's brilliant" category. Looking forward to Skyfall. I don't think I've seen the Dalton ones all the way through. I'm gonna try and make the effort in a week or two just for the hell of it... Octopussy is the worst of all, along with Quantum of Solace, ugh terrible... I didn't mind A View to a Kill... And the other one featuring the Polish-looking guy, Casino Royale is actually a pretty good film.

That is all. Crazy right? Well no, just surprising considering how many people watch them and how widespread they are. I used to see them by accident when visiting people at Christmas, I thought this must happen to everyone...

Your_Lion
I like both A View to a Kill and Moonraker. Not in my top ten...but I like 'em. 3 least favourite: Die Another Day Quantum of Solace Diamonds are Forever (after the events of the previous film, this should have been a full on revenge movie, like You Only Live Twice was in the books) Top 10: Casino Royale Goldeneye For Your Eyes Only On Her Majesty's Secret Service The Living Daylights Goldfinger Thunderball From Russia with Love The Spy Who Loved Me Tomorrow Never Dies

treeduck
Ok I think I've worked it out now, in a completely random order here's my best 10 Bond films: The Man with the Golden Gun From Russia with Love Live and Let Die GoldenEye Dr No On Her Majesty's Secret Service The Spy Who Loved Me Goldfinger The Living Daylights Casino Royale *edit The Living daylights is a brand new entry (so to speak), I just watched it, I'm surprised how much I liked this one. I'm gonna watch it again during an all-Bond film night in a week or two... Edited September 26, 2012 by treeduck

Stormtron
From Russia With Love Goldfinger Dr. No Casino Royale Goldeneye On Her Majesty's Secret Service Live and Let Die You Only Live Twice The Spy Who Loved Me For Your Eyes Only Rough order from memory, I haven't seen most of them in years. Worst for me would be any of the Brosnan movies after Goldeneye.
workingcinderellaman
QUOTE (treeduck @ Sep 26 2012, 03:21 PM) Connery himself looks a little old and haggard, and he lacks fire, like he came back again purely for the money. This film is definitely the worst of the Connery films. I forgot to adress this comment. http://cinemaxunga.net/plogger/plog-content/images/vintage/james-bond/never-say-never-again-1983.jpg Nuff said. I don't even count this one, it's just an 80s remake of Thunderball.
