I bought my mom these for Christmas:

Elton John - Goodbye Yellowbrick Road

Robert Plant & Allison Krauss - Raising Sand

Of course, I'm going to burn them onto itunes.

For Christmas, I got these:

Emerson, Lake & Palmer: Time and a Place Box Set

Paul McCartney - Band on the Run (2 disc, 1 DVD)

Transatlantic - The Whirlwind

I have lots of music to listen to during my week off biggrin.gif

The Weezer album is great however. Its very power-popish, kind of like Cheap Trick, except the singer isn't as good. Its upbeat and powerfull, so I'd say buy it yes.gif
I gave it an 8/10. I'll be checking out their older albums.

Once you hear Pinkerton, you'll shit bricks and throw away Hurley. They were so much better back then. sad.gif

In the past week, I've bought these, two one night and two today, at a Best Buy here in Augusta and at one south of Atlanta.

Green Day - Kerplunk (got it at a Best Buy today for only $10; also, I now have all of their studio albums)

The Psychedelic Furs - The Psychedelic Furs: Greatest Hits

Thursday - Common Existence

The White Stripes - Conquest (Best Buy exclusive; I assumed it was out of print so I bought it, plus it was only $5)

I just bought:

Rush

Retrospective 1, 2 & 3 from Ebay (new)

I never needed them because I had all of the songs on other C/D's

They have since joined my collection in the disk changer.
