picked up a used copy of Monster by REM today

Good purchase.

No-one seems to enjoy that one, but I dig it.

I pretty much love everything R.E.M. did up to and including New Adventures in Hi-Fi actually.

I downloaded Adventures In Modern Recording by Buggles (not The Buggles, according to Wikipedia) this weekend. It was pretty good, very '80s-sounding, but it's still a fun listen. Some tracks sound like they could have been on Yes' Drama album.

Coldplay - Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends

Coldplay - Prospekt's March EP

Nirvana - Nevermind

.... as well as buying (well, ordering) the M-Audio Keystudio. I spent waaaaay too much money today (though I wasted no money IMO), so it will be a while before I buy more albums. As in, next month. laugh.gif

It's superb. I preordered it back in December, yet USPS managed to fumble and delivered it a few days late. (I was not pleased.) There are a few tracks I don't care for, and don't think add much, but the Black Sabbath riffage on "Repaid" and the vintage Crimson Hammond-and-electric guitar call-and-response on "The Crossing" are just two reasons to love the album.

I ordered Genesis' Selling England By The Pound, Trick of the Tail, and Duke on Amazon. They should be here in about a week. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Ten (Collecters Edtition Reissue)- Pearl Jam.

Haven't had a chance to hear it yet, but i'm excited.

Sorry, not the "collecters edition" with the Lp's and everything

Just the Legacy with the remastered, remixed + bonus tracks and DVD version.
