You're a hoop guy. What level of male competition could they beat, in your opinion? If the US Women's Olympic team played the Hoosiers, what do you think the score would be? How about the Errick Suhr/Daniel Moore Hoosiers of Crean's first year?

There you go slammin' on the first 5. laugh.gif

Men are just bigger, stronger and quicker , but the women i alot of cases are better shooters especially from the free throw line.

I don't mind Woman's college ball. No interest in their pro league.

I love the first 5. Saying that they weren't exactly competitive at the major conference level <> hate.

I used to work with a guy who played in HS. He was a starter but did not get any scholarship offers (nor any interest) and went to UW. At that time the Badgers had a top 20 women's team. He was one of the practice players.

From this I'll extrapolate, because the US Olympic Team is well better than a top 20 NCAA women's team, and because this was about 15 yrs ago so I think the women's game has improved more than the men's game.

I think the US Women's Team (though there is no way of proving this) is probably at about the same level as a top 150 D-I men's team. If anything I wouldn't be surprised if that's too high. I do think they could outfundamental most of these teams but the athleticism would be too much to overcome. It would be interesting to see how these types of matchups would work out.

Just watching the Lady Pacers here , I think that Katie Douglas is kinda cute for a PU grad...she could prolly kick my ass too. laugh.gif

Cute for a PU grad? What exactly does that mean? She's more human than bovine? tongue.gif

There is a WNBA thread. Sheryl Swoopes, one of the biggest detractors about Caitlin Clark, had a career high of 34 points in a game. Clark just scored 35 and in her rookie year. Why them women so jealous of her? I'd say there's more to it, but that's for SOCN.
