Just saw this on Cygnus x-1.net and even though the artwork is blurred out, this looks like the artwork for The Wreckers. The shipwrecking theme makes sense because of the artwork, but who knows at this point.

That photo doesn't look blurred, it just looks like it was painted in that style.

It's not blurred, per se. It's a photoshop technique to make it look like an oil painting. John(?) at Cygnus does that with a lot of the album art as headings for the pages. It's cool that he got that somewhere if it's ligit.

Go here (Cygnus website, CA page) and scroll down. He did the same thing with the previous image that was released.

Cool!

I just clicked over there, and there are a few more images!

They are "blurred" though.

Oh, I see that they are indeed blurred now.

I also thought that the two hands was inspired by Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel painting, it was honestly the first thing I thought when I saw it. I had to do a report on that painting when I was in college.

I love all the images. The one with the hands is my favourite.

the one with the two hands reminds me a little of michaelangelo's artwork and sort of a ripoff.

Because two hands can never be painted near each other ever again after Michelangelo's work wacko.gif
