Will have to hear it. But he won't tour it as Tull. Only as Ian Anderson.

He should have had anyone in the 1972 band play on it that still can, such as the great Barriemore Barlow (light years ahead of Neil) and Martin Barre. John Evan cannot play anymore and Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond left music back in 1976.

The guitar work on the album is great, but I agree...Martin Barre should have been on there

What do you think of it now?

I never liked any of what I heard so it was never on the agenda for me.

I think it suffers from a Wanking guitar player and the fact only 2 people wrote the songs .

Yeah I saw a video of that guitarist, I suppose he's good but what he plays is boring and repetitive to my ears.

Back on topic and TAAB 2 is good.

It's clear right away that it's not going to match the original album, but once you digest that, and let's face it it was always going to be the case anyway, you can sit back and enjoy it as easily the best solo album of Anderson's career!

The production is solid, the guitarist on here is pretty nifty, the songs are enjoyable, very proggy, very interesting. Anderson's voice is much better than it's been in years, since the early 80s probably.

So far so good.
