and that's just a guess

I picked up a few Glenfiddich and Oban special releases around 2010 (none over $99) - last time I checked they are selling privately above $350/bottle

I only buy whisky to drink and experience it, so I'm really not interested in how much my unopened bottles are worth..... unless we start to get into the five-figure range :)

^ (and usually to do that you would have had to spend at least four figures on the bottle to begin with - and that's called investing, not drinking)

now I'm thirsty

I discovered 3 somewhat rare Macallan whisky bottles, admittedly on Amazon UK:

Macallan Anniversary Malt - 1928 50 yearly old - £441,995.75.

Macallan 8 Decades of Sir Peter Blake - 1937 - £10,100.03

Macallan Pure Highland Malt - 1935 36 year old - £8,399.95

I have no idea whether they're really worth that, or if the sellers are chancing their arm, as it were.

Ps - I also have no idea what the US equivalent is.

Apollo 11's fuel consumption was 7 inches to the gallon...

... however, when Buzz Aldrin came back from the Moon, and worked for 6 months as a car salesman, not one car did he sell.
