Adrian Belew (King Crimson... the man can write songs though)

nah, Adrian is fine

in fact, he's the best vocalist KC have ever had

a nice mix of Todd Rundgren and David Byrne (without the schmaltz of the former or the aloofness of the latter)

Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day)

When I saw that, I was gonna rage... but then I saw that you also don't like Tom's voice.

The singer form Counting Crows always drove me up a wall. I cringe whenever I come across one of their songs.

Also most country music I can't stand - that twangy thing can work occasionally if the music isn't too country, but mostly I find it extremely obnoxious.

Gwen Stefani - I loved her in no doubt

But there is something different about her solo stuff. I guess its the way she is playing with her voice.

I totally agree! I saw her sing at the Superbowl in San Diego, Raiders V. Bucs.

She was awful live.

My wife loves her though. I can't stand her, but the early No Doubt stuff is tolerable.

I'm surprised no one said Dave Matthews! That guy has got the WORST MOST ANNOYING FUKKING VOICE I've evr had the displeasure of hearing! 062802puke_prv.gif

Dave Matthews sounds like a goat when he sings. laugh.gif

I'm trying to think of who's voice drives me crazy. I have to say Ozzy's voice is really bad.

I agree with Billy Corgan.

And I'm not going to throw anything at whoever said Eddie Vedder, I'm nice tongue.gif I will disagree though!

Thought of another one, Chris Cornell.

I can't stand his voice, but I love his drummer!

The song "Mr. Jones" makes me cringe. A very annoying singer.

I heard Britney cover "I Love Rock And Roll" with the wife and kids the other day in some store. It was so awful I had to leave.

Sting is great!

Dring the Police years, he was a little hard to take but by the time Synchronicity came out, he developed a great voice. Hes great tenor

Yea. That's why I mentioned Outlandos D'Amour. It sounds like he's trying to sound like Jon Anderson but by the time Synchronicity came out, his voice was fine.

And Billie Joe Armstrong sounds like he's trying to be a tool

Ticker, I like Joe Lynn Turner too. My beef is with the the worst singer Rainbow ever had! I already mentioned him, Graham Bonnet.

I got to meet that guy when I was a little kid. When that song was new-ish. 1969-70, maybe.

...Otherwise, that chick from the Cranberries.

Outlandos is some of his best

IMO of course confused13.gif

But some of the notes and emotion in Roxanne and So Lonely is incredible.

Billie is a TOOL! Maynard's voice is awesome though! LOL!

I know a lot of people hate Les Claypool's voice but to me he is GOLDEN!

STING rules bottom line.

I love his voice with the acoustic guitar on the solo song "Fragile."

Brilliant.
