I have an affinity for lilacs and honeysuckle flowers... smile.gif They remind me of my granny, whom I am very close too.

I love honeysuckle, too. There were honeysuckle bushes outside the window of my bedroom when I was a child. I would open the window in the spring, and the room would be enveloped in the sweet smell. We would take the flowers, pull the stigma through the bottom and there would be a drop or two of nectar to put on our tounges. One of my best childhood memories.

As for literal flowers, I am partial to Wisteria (love that wondrous aroma floating on the spring breeze from the vines high in the trees, brings back warm childhood memories) and dwarf Iris, which grows in abundance in the wilds around my secluded mountain home.    Lots of flowers are beautiful, but these two hold special meaning for me.

I have a Wisteria vine that I planted about 4 years ago, and it absolutely will not bloom!!! I've tried everything ... any suggestions?

That's awesome!

The colors are fantastic. I would want to paint something like that.

Girlies, I get to see this all the time. So I guess I've become immune. But, your pics of the beautiful flowers are very much appreciated. We dont get a spring here in the desert. Next time you are here in AZ, or Show Low, to be exact, look me up. At least the sight of snow on a majestic, centuries old cactus is still awe inspiring.
