Bastille Night
Awesome. This movie got aweful reviews, but I loved it. Batman
Finally saw this last night. Best part for me.... Ron Burgundy: Boy, that escalated quickly... I mean, that really got out of hand fast! Champ Kind: It jumped up a notch! Ron Burgundy: It did, didn't it? Brick Tamland: Yeah, I stabbed a man in the heart! Ron Burgundy: I saw that! Brick killed a guy! Did you throw a trident? Brick Tamland: Yeah, there were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident! Ron Burgundy: Brick, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you're probably wanted for murder. ALifeson85
Hahah! I love this movie. I forgot EXACTY how it went, but I like when Brick asked Veronica if she wanted to join a party that was in his pants, and she rejected, then suddenly this dude walks up to him and asks HIM if he wants to join a party in his pants. LOL If anyone knows exactly what was said during this scene, post it. -Matt
rushengal
Veronica Corningstone: ...and that can be very distracting. Okay, so when we get to the pet shop... Brick Tamland: Cough. Look over here. Excuse me, Veronica? Veronica Corningstone: Yes? What is it, Brick? Brick Tamland: I would like to extend to you an invitation to the pants party. Veronica Corningstone: Excuse me? Brick Tamland: [struggling] The... party. With the... with the pants. Party with pants? Veronica Corningstone: Brick, are you saying that there's a party in your pants and that I'm invited? Brick Tamland: That's it. Veronica Corningstone: Did Brian tell you to say this, Brick? Brick Tamland: No! Yes. He did. Veronica Corningstone: Okay. No. I don't want to go to a party in your pants. Brick Tamland: Very well. Ian, would you like to go to a party in my pants? Ian: No, Brick. Brick Tamland: All right. Lets go. [runs off, there is a sound of crashing off screen] Brick Tamland: It's all right! I'm all right!

Schro
I really liked this movie, even though it misfired in a few parts. The only character that really layed an egg was the weatherman. Fine, he's the dumb guy. But dumb does not automatically equal funny. There's funny dumb and there's boring dumb, and he was the latter for me. Still, a great effort and pretty original. Will Ferrel is the best. "It's time for the gun show."

Snowdog
I guess it's official. I have turned into my father. This movie was fair, but it disappointed me greatly. I don't know what's wrong with me. Can't get into Napoleon Dynamite, can't get into Anchorman, but I loved The Notebook. I'm officially an old fogey fart. I've turned into my dad. My youth is dead Ah, hell, let me go crank up Temples of Syrinx

Schro
At least you're acknowledging the problem Snowdog, that's the first step. My Dad was a bass player and saw Yes three times in concert. Now he doesn't listen to any of that stuff anymore and instead his collection is all jazz now, sigh. I like jazz, but if this ever happens to me I want one of you to hit me over the head and force me to listen to 2112 until I snap out of it. Seriously, I appreciate your dilemma a bit Snow. I'm a bit more discriminate of my movies than in the days of yore. I find little movie sections or charaters that I feel were underdevelped and cringe while my wife rolls her eyes and says, "just watch the dam movie". Still, Anchorman made me laugh pretty hard in a few spots, and I give it credit for that. Schro
