Sir Lerxst Posted May 16, 2009 Share Posted May 16, 2009 Normally he rests his thumb ontop of the Neck pickup, and has his pinky against the body of the bass, and he uses the other 3 fingers to pick, although, he uses his index finger the most by far... from what I have seen anyway. Geddy Lee Guitar World August 2007 Interview I read where Geddy mentioned here when he was younger almost had his finger chopped and it caused the nail to grow back stronger. SiriusRushFan Posted May 16, 2009 Share Posted May 16, 2009 Also a bit of insight from Geddy as to what he likes to play these days starting at 16:50, about him going away from the keyboards and trying to trigger keyboard stuff with his bass pedals. I think this may have something to do with him not wanting to play certain keyboard sounds/songs on a tour anymore, unless he can trigger the sounds with his pedals.
