What's That Smell

pt i

 

Open: Truck on S&A Road in Lightning Storm

 

Harry: (hums/sings while driving)

Dolls: (hitchiking) 'TeeHee, Look! A Square Car!'

Harry: 'Blimey, would you look at that?'

'Ho, Ho! Ladies, here I come!'

Dolls: 'Yay!'

 

Dolls: 'Hi!'

Harry: 'Hello Ladies! Can I give you a ride?'

Doll1: 'Are you a boy or a girl?'

Doll2: 'He's wearing a dress!'

 

Harry: 'Hey, do you like chicken, by any chance?'

Doll1: 'Are you Irish?

Harry: 'Sorry?'

Dolls: 'Are you IRISH?'

Harry: 'Cant' hear that.'

 

Harry: (stops the truck) 'Well, my girlies, where have we arrived?'

Mounty: (outside of door/window) 'Going somewhere?'

Harry: 'Uh... ...'I'm looking for some... ...CHICKEN!'

Mounty: 'Going Somewhere?'

Harry: 'Uh... Ho-Kay...'

 

What's That Smell

pt ii

 

Open: Yyz Drumroll Fill

 

Dolls: 'Wow! He's cute -sort of.'

NeilToy: "I'm enormously powerful and handsome!'

Dolls: 'TeeHee'

Harry: 'Hey! Cram it, Bongo-Boy!'

 

NeilToy plays Yyz Intro

 

Dolls: 'Ahhhhhhhh!'

'Gotta Go!'

 

Mounty: 'Going Somewhere?'

Harry: 'Going Somewhere.'

Mounty: 'Going Somewhere?'

Harry: 'Okay, Yeah... "Going Somewhere."'

Mounty: 'Going Somewhere?'

Harry: 'That's right.'

Mounty: 'Oh! You're Going To...'

Harry: 'Bye, now.'

'Lovely to see yoo.'

'Great.'

Mounty: 'Going Somewhere?'

Harry: 'Bye, now.'

Harry: 'Go away.'

 

What's That Smell

pt iii

 

Harry: 'Mmmm.'

'What's THAT smell?'

Al: 'Chicken?'

Harry: 'Mmmm.'

Al: 'Ohhhh.'

Harry: 'Mmmm.'

Al: 'Ohhhh.'

Harry: 'Mmmm.'

Al: 'Ah! Oh!'

 

(sfx): 'Whaaaa!'

'Whaaaaaa!'

'Whaaaaaaaaa!'

 

Al: 'You want a bucket of chicken?'

Harry: 'Aye!'

Al: 'I get it from my daughter...'

'HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE-DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!'

'Bring bucket of chicken for dis guy.'

 

Unc*: 'STOP CALLING ME HIEDI!'

'Whaaa...? What the hell?'

 

Al: 'She good, ja?'

Harry: 'Yeah!'

 

Al: 'Not THAT good.'

 

end.

 

There you have it.

Pretty sure it has something to do with...

I thought this video was hilarious. I have watched it probably about ten times since I bought the DVD. Everytime I watch it I catch something new. The nips on the barbie was brilliant. The snake blood on the raodside and windshield. Stuff you wouldn't catch seeing it at the show after a few brews.

 

Let me ask though - the chicken man - Is that Alex? I didn't think so, but my bud swears it is.

I appreciate Rush hugely for the music, but part of what makes me like them over and above any other band is the great mix of personalities in the band, and how they've managed to stay the course so well over all these years. I'm really liking the humour element which has been showing more and more lately!

The guys have always done silly things on stage, why not have a little fun? I think it was hilarious and brilliant.
