JohnRogers
Finally! Over the last three weeks of vacation driving cross country I spotted the Challenger on the way home on the highway. Then the kicker is I finally see it live in my little berg of Enid, OK. The car IS NOT big the way people keep writing, bigger than the current 'Stang and original Challenger but not classic B-Body size at all. Here is me at Johnson's of Enid Chrysler/Dodge http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/9039/2008challenger009xt0.th.jpg http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/8203/20...enger011km3.jpg http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/7324/20...enger010dm4.jpg http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/9039/20...enger009xt0.jpg http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/5442/20...enger008ga3.jpg http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/6019/20...enger007ms1.jpg http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/3904/20...enger006zk9.jpg On the road in New Jersey. http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/8490/20...enger005wg4.jpg http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/2610/20...enger004yb3.jpg http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/88/2008...enger003rx8.jpg http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/8823/20...enger002ft2.jpg http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/6584/20...enger001po7.jpg
MCM
It appears very close to the proto-type one I saw at the car shows two summers ago.. the back end of it is just sick!
nettiesaur
The original was one cool car. My brother had one. It looks like this has the lines of a Barracuda, at least in the front.
JohnRogers
Red Barchetta will have to be on my play list for the ride home when I pick mine up.
Godeater2112
Cool! I might get one for my winter ride. What's the MRSP on those little suckers?
VampireBiscuits
Wow they did a great job on the body design for that car.

ozzy85
QUOTE (Godeater2112 @ Jul 19 2008, 02:06 PM) Cool! I might get one for my winter ride. What's the MRSP on those little suckers? I think they'e about $40K with the Hemi, less for a 6-cyl coupe. I saw a black one about two weeks ago on my way home. It looks about the same length as the '73 I had, but stockier. I had an electric blue one with a 383. Too bad these cars came out just in time for a gas crisis, kinda like the ones from the '70's.
JohnRogers
I got that 2009 SRT and then got 2013 R/T Classic in Plum Crazy Purple. I had to sell them as I got ready to retire from the USAF to start the cigar lounge business. A sign the business is doing well is me getting a 2016 or 2017 SRT Challenger in PCP.

How bad do you miss your Challenger? I had a 2009 G8 GT, and I parted with it last December. I really miss it. I now have a 2012 Audi A4 Quattro with the sport package and the 6 speed manual. Still a very fun car, but not nearly as fast, and I miss the V-8 rumble. :(
JohnRogers
I miss the Challenger very much and plan to get one in aboot two years if all goes well. It is a real shame aboot Pontiac just as the rug got pulled out the division was making good on being the American performance brand. Had it survived a better excuted GTO would have come along. The 2006 GTO was a fine machine.

JohnRogers
To cut costs while transitioning from active duty to entrepreneurship I sold the '13 Challenger and the '12 Wrangler Rubicon. Now I drive '10 PT Cruiser :(

Now I drive '10 PT Cruiser :(Ouch. I feel your pain. I'm truly jealous though. Rubicons are bad ass. I want to have a Wrangler some day. We rented one when the wife and I were in Maui. They are a blast to drive, but with three kids, not very practical. Hopefully your cigar shop takes off, and you'll be able to get a Hell Cat in the near future. :haz: You don't get rich working for somebody else. ;)
