launchpad67a
I thought that Paul McCartney did an awesome job during this years Super Bowl halftime show. I am a huge fan and have seen him live around 10 times but the setting for this show was just amazing. Great choice of songs, great production, great theatrics and visuals and best of all...No lip syncing!! Did anyone else enjoy this as much as me? I mean you just don't find a bigger star to perform at such an event. http://www.westernvistas.net/paul.jpg http://www.westernvistas.net/paul1.jpg

1-0-0-1-0-0-1
Finally, a halftime show worth watching. Great music and effects. No childish stunts or Aerosmith/Ashlee Simpson/50 Cent-like combos!
GhostGirl
I thought it was a great show.
Moonraker
Definatly was a great one, this had seriously been the first half-time show in a long while that I actually enjoyed. Whoever it was that put that whole thing together needs to stay doing the halftime shows, quit giving power to MTV who are only going to appeal to people under the age of 15. happysmiles007
yupps, i actually stayed this time to watch..last season, i turned the tv off..i'm so glad mtv can't do the halftime show anymore!! to be honest, i didn't think Paul'd do so good, what with him getting on in years, but man!! i came close to tears when they played Hey Jude.. reminded me of his Beatle days. (not that i was around back then )

Snowdog
Hat's off to Sir Paul. He did an excellent job. My only regret is I sat a little over 20 miles away from the stadium in my living room, unable to see it live.

LOL, yeah, no kidding..!! I like the G&R version also. I'm not a big McCartney fan, but that was the BEST halftime show in a long time!! No stupid Rap/Country/HipHop/Rock combo... with way too many people on stage!! This was nice and simple with excellent production and great music!! For some reason, the game seemed a bit boring in comparison..
spirit of radio
His pettiness towards the late great John Lennon over the years unables me to take him seriously. I partook in the halftime ritual of pizza, wings and a trip outside for the traditional halftime hoolie argh

That is funny. We saw him perform about three years ago. He was outstanding. We didn't expect Drive My Car and Get Back, though.
