my dad's an enormous nascar fan, so it's difficult for me not to know 2billion things about the sport (debatable term). i can't sit still & watch it, but if i'm eating or just walking through the house, it's pretty cool. i have no beef with it, but i have no problem making fun of it either. i personally thought this movie was hilarious--& not quite as stupid as i was expecting. i was in love with the soundtrack

negative. it's just that there aren't that many other songs of Rush's that people would recognize. i honestly can't even tell you how many of my friends have said "hey carolynn, i heard this Rush song on the radio yesterday & i thought of you". when i ask them what it was, they can never tell me! but i figure it's either tom sawyer, spirit of radio, or limelight.

holy crap--just noticed this thread. on this particular movie, i can agree with EVERYBODY. it basically had no plot--which was a severe disappointment, however, it was scary like you would not believe. i laid in bed awake all night! of course--that was like a year ago, but still, i was no little girl. i remember me, my friends, & about the entire middle school went to go see it, & everytime the girl's face would pop up--EVERYBODY screamed! it was pretty funny, since even though i'm easily scared by movies like this, they don't make me jump. the strange thing is, this movie scared the crap out of me, & none of my friends thought it was scary. however, i watched Hide & Seek with them, which didn't scare me at all (but it was a fabulous movie), & my friends were so scared. i guess whether you enjoyed this movie or not all depends on what type stuff scares you eh? that scene where she was walking the steps & then turns around & her jaw is missing--that was delightfully scary, as was the scene where the lady's cornered in her apartment, & something starts moving up the sheets toward her!! but the rest of the movie was just scary.

i love the track on Scarface that plays during the opening credits but i have no freakin clue what it is. i don't actually own the movie, so i can't even try to see if it's on the list of songs! anybody have any clue what it is?
