Saw him once, pretty good. The prog piece was always his best. In a brit comedy called Black Books too which is okish. Not sure how it would translate to the US. He's coming down later this year but can't really afford it this time fists crying.gif

Yeah, we have a thriving comedy scene now it seems. The bigger acts are starting to make their way down more, Chris Rock, Lenny Henry etc. Many worth checking out.

Thats awesome smile.gif

Bill Bailey is a genius of the highest order. I'm involved with my local theatre, and when we held a comedy festival a few years ago, I not only had the honour of meeting Bill, I got to introduce him on stage.

It was an epic performance.

The second time I saw him was at the Cat Laughs Comedy Festival in Kilkenny in the back room of a bar. His act was basically a condensed version of the Part Troll show, and culminated with his Kraftwerk tribute, which I hadn't seen before.

Bill Bailey's Kraftwerk Tribute

Now, seeing as I have a Hokey Cokey quote in my sig by Mr Billy Bragg, it's a nice segue into the next clip. Any Bill Bailey fans on this side of the pond will be familiar with his tribute to "the other BB". Now, Billy has a great sense of humour, so it's no surprise that this happened two years ago at Glastonbury

Finally, an audience recording from Lattitude of Bill's classic Killers spoof from last year.

OK-ish???

It's probably the most clever and funny sitcom on television! Though, it's actually my favorite after Spaced.

Bill Bailey and Dylan Moran are my favorite standups. The hell wtih Eddie Izzard.

Yeah, I never quite got it, did give it a few goes. As far as fairly mod brit stuff Id go for Father Ted (Ardal O'Hanlan is amazing as a comic) and The League of Gentlemen (snagging the dvd set one of these days). Older brit comedy is quite a longer list cool.gif

We saw the Tinselworm tour last year which was brilliant, apart from being so far up in the gods.

We are all human slaves of the insect nation....

ah aaaaaaaah ah ah ahhh!

Sorry if this sounds like a brag, but I was lucky enough to go on that tour with him and I felt guilty about invoicing, it was so much fun. I honestly couldn't wait to get up and go to work each day, which is rare let me tell ya!

Nicest Man In Showbiz - and yes, we even talked about Rush.
