I resemble that remark! Ditzes? For the record, there are a few drummers who post in this thread. And although I am not one of them, I enjoy seeing pics of the kits and how they've changed over the years. I have copies of both AWIP and Anatomy of A Drum Solo, and not just so I can slobber all over the TV screen; Neil's explanation adds another dimension to my appreciation of the music. So there! We all post here for our own reasons, to be called a 'ditz' because of it is uncalled for. Go find another thread to spread discontent in. I am similar in thought as Marathonist; I am not a drummer either, but own both instructional videos. I admire the man, his writing and the music he plays, watching the videos just deepens the appreciation/understanding of what he does and why he does it.
