Huck
QUOTE (Mandalorian Hunter @ Jan 26 2008, 12:52 AM)Daniel Craig is the perfect Bond. All the others may have been suave and sofisticated, but Craig is sticking to the Bond that Fleming envisaged, and I'd rather that any day. I wouldn't be too sure that Craig is unpolished, but will be soon. This Bond is here to stay for atleast Quatum Of Solace and Bond 23. Maybe until Bond 25. And he was as far away from an American Cowboy than one can get. if you're referring to his portrayal in Casino Royale; He was a cool, calm and collected customer. Very suave and very sophisticated, but he had a rough side which the bond series has been lacking for a long time. I for one hope that this Bond is staying for a long while. In the books Bond had a very hard cold side.
Magnus
Worst title since AVtaK? Puh-lease. "Octopussy?" "Never Say Never Again?" At least they're sticking to original Fleming titles.

At least they're sticking to original Fleming titles. Yes, 'Octopussy' was a bad title but you have to give it credit for being cleverly tongue-in-cheek as well as gutsy. 'Never Say Never Again' wasn't all that bad for a title. 'A View To A Kill' is downright crappy, it's not even a clever pun. It's as if some moron just strung together a few words. ReRushed
QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Feb 7 2008, 08:23 AM) Look what I found this morning. Very cool: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/JackAubrey/newjamesbondposter.jpg I like that the image is directly linked to Casino Royale. It always bothered me that there was a lack on continuity with the Bond films. Hopefully with the Craig Bond films there will be a compelling story arc. I love how all these film franchises are being rebooted. Batman, Bond, Star Trek (my fingers are crossed). There's a lot to look forward too! Casino Royale, Quatum of Solace and Bond 23 are going to be a trilogy, and Quantum of Solace starts one hour after the events of Casino Royale. As for the poster, I love it! However, and I really don't mean to be obtuse, it still sounds clumsy. The rhythm just feels...off. Sorry, I don't think I can quantify it any better than that.
