Skyswing, the Tupelo coliseum seats about 10,000 for a full house show and about 5,000 for a half-house. I know a nightclub downtown (within walking distance of the coliseum) that would be perfect for a meet-up. We might be the lucky suckers organizing the meet-up if Rush plays here. I doubt it'll happen, but you never know. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Tupelo is hosting the Reba McEntire/Kelly Clarkson duo tour on Feb. 14 and six days later, Kid Rock's coming to town. The coliseum manager answers questions on the newspaper's entertainment blog every Friday, so I'll send him a question about Rush. But if Rush does play a Mississippi site, the Coast Coliseum is the most likely place.
