Good question, but it's been 6 years since they reconciled. They've managed to start a second tour and have put out an album too. Man, that's crazy productive by Van Halen standards the past 15 years!! I think this is it. And they seem to be getting along well enough. I just read an interview from '08 (40 shows into the reunion tour) and it was with Ed and Wolf...and Eddie naturally brings up Dave. Wolfie said the first time DLR showed up and they played as a foursome (the VH family had been practicing for MONTHS and MONTHS prior), he called the moment magical. So they both projected a level of respect and happiness with where the band was with Dave and seem to be doing so still. With all things VH, you just never know...it's true. But I fully expected that AFTER the last tour ended in '08 it would be with sour words between Dave and Eddie in the press and how nightmarish it all was, etc. Never again. What an asshole. What was I thinking? That NEVER happened. If it did, I never read about it. They've simply not thrown one another under any vehicles (buses or otherwise) since getting back together.
