It looks smooth! I need to try that once before I die. It's wicked smooth.... I think I'll have a shot or two of the 12 year old tonight. I was a fan of Chivas, Glenlivet and Glenfiddich prior to reading Ghost Rider. So I decided to expand my horizons. hey if its good enough for Neil... CAme out of the grocery store one night and saw a sign for a VLO (Vermont Liqour Outlet, God I love this state anyone that wats a liqour license can have one unlike CT where you have to be a "package" store) not expecting them to have this item. Lo and behold they did and i have been enjoying many a bottle since!!

Probably if you buy it by the case, but then you probably have to pay shipping.. So I'm not sure....
Midway Hawker
The Macallan "Although we cannot sell you our whisky online we are delighted to offer you a range of other The Macallan products." Guess that answers that question for the Macallan.

Moonraker
*Ressurecting an old thread* I am going back east to MD for a vacation to see some friends and family from Aug 8th - Aug 14th. During my trip, I will be going to NYC to visit my best friend, and decided to buy a bottle of this as a gift. Cost me $70, and if I shopped around, I might have found a better deal, but its ok. I think he will appreciate it. http://www.themacallan.com/img/bottles/fineoak/fo_15yr_old_pop.jpg

daveyt
i'll never forget my first taste: SAN DIEGO after the show. the first thing i blurted out after a sip? CHOCOLATE don't get too jealous...the next time i had it was in GLASGOW hanging out at this upscale bar a couple hours before showtime. i was given a MACALLAN taste test. that's NICE yeah and he recommended to but a dab of water in the younger ones before you try it straight up. i think that's what he said. my f***ing credit card hasn't budged an inch in over a year now BTW how the hell am i going to finance the next tour? Dread Pirate Robert
Okay, I finally got around to trying the Macallan two nights ago, at a bar. (12 year, I wanted the 18, but they were out of it). It was outstanding. Now I know why this forum is named after it.
