Gompers
I must apologize for my lack of involvement with the chat session. My new duties as head hockey coach for my son's Squirt team have totally occupied what little free time I have. Even worse, it has put a serious strain on my beer consumption, which needed much more now due to clueless parents.
rushgoober
QUOTE (Gompers @ Nov 2 2007, 05:40 AM) I must apologize for my lack of involvement with the chat session. My new duties as head hockey coach for my son's Squirt team have totally occupied what little free time I have. Even worse, it has put a serious strain on my beer consumption, which needed much more now due to clueless parents. I don't mind so much that you missed the show, but drinking LESS BEER? Come one, now! No worries, man.

rushgoober
QUOTE (Ru5h F@n @ Nov 15 2007, 02:06 PM) Hey could you play some of my songs on your show too, Gary? Now that would be cool. I've been asked by various bands to play their material and I always say no. No offense meant, but I'm always afraid I won't like their music and then I'd have to reject them or play music on my show I didn't like. I know that's selfish, but it evades any uncomfortable situations, and besides, there are shows where people are focusing on new music. 95% of what I play is 1965-1978. And besides, believe me, I'm not exactly getting hundreds of listeners. It's not like it would really give any musician or band any kind of real exposure anyway... Ru5h F@n
That's ok I guess for you. I have my own radio station anyways now which plays all the good stuff from all decades of all genres. So it's not a biggie here anyways. Just wanted to see your opinion on it that's all. Are you sure this hasn't inflated your ego over this new job of yours now?
