My favorite show these days is "How I Met Your Mother." Some may see it as a "Friends" rip-off, but I think it's really well written, the characters are good, and it's neat how most episodes are told in a series of flashbacks from the night/week before.

That's the only show I feel I MUST see every week... but wait until "Idol" starts again, and then "Rockstar."

CSI is not bad but I think it's over-rated. As for reality shows, you couldn't even pay me enough money to watch that junk. no.gif

The only shows I try not to miss (when schedule permits) are the following:

Medium

Ghost Whisperer

The Bachelor

Survivor

The Apprentice

American Idol

America's Next Top Model

Many of these are seasonal only. Beyond that, I enjoy repeats of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Friends, Charmed, Sex in the City, Will & Grace, the History Channel and any good movies that happen to be on. I've been watching a lot of the Independent Film Channel lately...

Get out! You like the History Channel?! I had no idea! I'm usually watching either that or the Discovery Channel. With the exception of 'Lost' and 'My Name is Earl', episodic TV has pretty much lost it's luster for me.

Easy there, mister.

Different people have different tastes and it'd be a boring old world if we all liked the same things. Be tolerant.

Ru5h F@n, I know for you it's unfathomable to watch this kind of stuff, and believe me, I've heard it. Many people think it's the worst kind of crap. Then again, you're a big fan of Abba, Kenny G, Neil Diamond, Barbara Streisand and Tina Turner, and this is hardly what I would consider good music.

Let's just live and let live. smile.gif

Never miss 24.

I'll watch just about any hockey game.
Exception to the rule: Detroit Red Wings unless they're playing the Kings.

Fox News Channel

Between work and school, I don't get much tube time. sad.gif

And, I spend too much time on this damn thing. comp26.gif

Me either. I love 24. I bought all 5 seasons on dvd. Hockey too. Especially when it's Stanley Cup time. That's my favorite. unsure.gif

I don't think I watch any shows from week to week, although I'll watch an episode of certain shows from time to time. I typically don't like "The King of Queens" but last night's episode with the ice cream truck was hilarious. laugh.gif

If something good is on UNC-TV (PBS) then I'll watch it. They have a show that comes on Thursday called "North Carolina Weekend" which showcases various places to visit and/or vacation. Another show is called "Our State" which does something similar. It gives viewers ideas of places to go and things to do. Up until recently, I didn't know just how beautiful my homestate can be.
