Guitar riffs, yes a rock staple, which is your Rush favourite though? The classic Limelight riff? The chorus of Red Barchetta? Working Man? Is it the many rhythm guitar parts that make up a song that doesn't have a recognisable riff maybe? Maybe you love the many and various riffage elements that make up Hemispheres?

I'll leave it with you...

If your fave isn't in the poll, well just name your own choice because obviously I can't put every song in there, that's just a few major ones...

For just the riff...Bangkok, easily. The crowd goes nuts with even the slightest bit from that song.

Missing one very important song:

Natural Science.

Yeah well I pretty much just banged in the first 20 songs that came into my head...

For me, the definitive Rush guitar riff is Spirit of Radio (with Limelight a close second). That's the one that got me interested in playing guitar! Great original riff with an awesome sound. To me, a great riff grabs your attention right off the bat, and it defines a song in a way that sticks in everyones memory and identifies a band for years to come. SOR seems to have done that beautifully.

Ohh no not that question, isn't it obvious? Did a the idea of a duck that lives in a tree maybe not occur to you? laugh.gif
