GeddyRulz
My favorites are The Stand, The Dead Zone, Misery, and Pet Sematary. When I first got into Stephen King back in 1987, everyone (even strangers on the bus) kept telling me The Stand was his best. I hadn't even heard of it, because it hadn't been made into a movie yet. I began reading it, but stopped because I lost interest. Began again another time, and stopped again. The third time I picked it up and tried to read it... I couldn't put it down! How could I have ever put it down those first two tries?? It's epic! it's awesome! Read The Stand!
Freedom_Fighter
i can't wait man. but actually i haven't been reading nearly as much as i should, and am still only on the fourth dark tower so it will be a little while before i can read the stand. Tom Sawyer
I recently saw a preview of an up-coming series title "Stephen King's Nightmares & Dreamscapes". Anyone heard more of this? Short stories, mini series?
GeddyRulz
QUOTE (pinkfloyd1973 @ Jul 20 2006, 04:29 AM) I recently saw a preview of an up-coming series title "Stephen King's Nightmares & Dreamscapes". Anyone heard more of this? Short stories, mini series? It's already begun. I think it's an ongoing series of shorter stories - kind of like the separate vignettes in "Cat's Eye" - each based on a King short story.

Anyone heard more of this? Short stories, mini series? Yes it is a short story collection that came out in the early '90's...It's not as good as his other short story collections but not too bad.... It appears TNT will have this as a summer series... 8 one hour episodes on the short stories in this collection... http://www.tnt.tv/title/?oid=612966 Edited July 20, 2006 by Test4VitalSigns
