OMG. Blonde, I am reading this post, and I am nervous for you. Just something about it, has struck me. People that stare, piss me off. I got to hear plenty of comments behind my back, and see a lot of stares when I would go places in my wheel chair, or with my back brace on. blonde77th Posted June 12, 2006 Author Share Posted June 12, 2006 Well i am back & i should of not gone alone but was trying to do something on my own but i need someone with me for this stuff i guess, well it wasn't what i thought i ended getting picked what 5 times so they could get a good vein ( had to inject dye again ),my veins see the needle and dive for cover so it makes it harder for me doing these tests as i have crappy veins ,i got there at 8am. and had to stop at Chaotica's ( around 9:30 am ) i needed to cheat i needed a cig. after all that . Some years back, I had a medical emergency. Same problem for me too. The person couldn't get the blood they needed from me either, because I was very anemic. I had bruises down my arm for weeks. This is over now. I know you will have challenging days ahead of you. But, you WILL get through this. I'm thinking of you, and sending prayers your way! Stay strong. I know how stressed and nervous you are and you have every right to be... But keep looking to the future and all the NEW LIFE you will be given. You have ALOT of people who love and care for you including a large group here at TRF. Sure there will be a few disappointments with the chemo but in the long run YOU WILL BE A HEALTHIER CAROL!!!
