Iirc the categorization was based upon what gear a car had to be in to climb the hill. 1

Symon is slated to ride redbull rampage this fall. The brothers hosted an event the last two years in Poland. An urban slopestyle contest called redbull roof ride. Replays of the roof ride are on YouTube and most likely as a replay on redbull tv. Redbull tv is free and has lots of highly caffeinated events. 1

They also used second-hand West Europeans to make things interesting. The East Europeans were not allowed to take part in the big races like Tour de France, but the stock produced World champions and Olympic gold medal winners. 1

Read a little about the history and how it's become a big under 23 race. Lots of heavy hitters from the winners list. I saw your fave Kwiatkowski won in 2008 against Peter Sagan! Did not know he was so old. Also Remco evenpoel won it a few years and just won 2 gold medals in Paris. Very cool I think I will eventually upgrade to discovery+ so I can watch races like this. thanks 1
