I had seen a BB code somewhere and wanted to see if the code was proprietary to that specific forum or if it worked on any board (BB codes like , , [image] etc...). The admins of a board did this to their memebers as an april fools joke. It's called the [you] code. It's actually pretty funny to see in action. Here's how it works. When you register at a site you fill in some information in your profile like email, sex, website, listening area, etc. It's a special code that lets you post a message like "[you] just emailed me from [you-email]. Here is what [you-heshe] said" Once it's posted you can read your message and instead of seeing the you code, you'll see all of your own infromation filled in it's place. The readers own info is automatically filled in like madlibs, by grabbing their information from thier profile. You are the only one seeing it. Everyone else sees their information.
