Tick Posted October 24, 2006 Author Share Posted October 24, 2006 hilda, last active december 17th 2005. every once in awhile i check to see if her iconic pressence has logged in, alas its looks like spring 2007 will be the last hope for our beloved maiden to return. we wait, wishing, flame flickering, hope all but lost. these are the last days of the eternal flame, which would actually mean its not eternal but anyway the temple has been built, the planets are almost in alignment, the popcorn just finished popping, a dog somewhere in the distance barks silently while an old women is wispering hush. through all of this hilda stands by her kitchen window hollering at her children as the last dish is washed in a cold insensitive world that cares not for the weak tired and huddled masses, but longs for one last dance in a vapor trail of destiny. We are as the early Christians waiting for the second coming, when he departed them they expecting him to return swiftly. To quickly adorn their lives again with his grace.
