Roth told the crowd to "Light up" right before they started playing Light Up The Sky. (Smoking and open flames were banned in the venue.) After the Show, the cops arrested Roth. They released him afterwards, as they couldn't come up with any law that he had broken..... I hope Ozzy never played there. He introduced Flying High Again by telling the audience to, "Keep smoking them joints."

Riverfront Coliseum was a no-go venue right after the December 1979 tragedy, but bands eventually played there again, albeit under strict rules. No festival seating, smoking or open flames. ZZ Top was the first band to play there in March 1980. Sammy Hagar opened, and his band played Baba O'Riley for the very happy crowd. Van Halen played there in April. That troublemaker Roth just couldn't help himself! Black Sabbath with Ronnie Dio came to town in October. Their first tour together. Although smoking was banned at the Coliseum, the cloud of pot smoke was THICK. Dio had a few hecklers up front. He wasn't very happy....

It was Sabbath’s first tour without Ozzy, and a lot of fans were not happy about it. Some fans up front even threw stuff at Dio mid-song. He was shaking his fist at them…. His brother had a unique rhythmic style to his drumming. House of Pain is proof of this.
