What a monster actress. She was so good at playing the role you love to hate, while by all accounts, was a lovely person in real life. A serious professional.

 

It's a little bit sad that she will be remembered as the face of some truly hated characters, but that is a testament to her skill and craft. She's irreplaceable.

I had forgotten she was in Cruel Intentions.  She played Sebastian's aunt.  Saw it twice in theaters.  The 2nd time was because a family friend was younger than 17 and I was 18 and already in senior year of high school.  Did this for American Pie as well.
