Malkin, and Crosby each get goals and Carter Rowney gets his first of the season. Conor Sheary got the winning goal during a power play with only 2:53 left in the game. The lightning are bringing a whole new meaning to skating with sticks of fire!!!! It looked like my bolts were going to get a 7-0 shut out but in the last minute a double penalty left a 4 on 4 in which the birds of ice reached real deep to pluck some under feathers (down) and got their only lonely goal. Although the commanding win was a much needed mood lifter to all the hell I have been going through in my personal life, the fact that I had my granddaughter with me was the icing on the cake. She had such a BLAST and quite frankly is now an 8 year old hockey connoisseur She also has been deemed in our section as a good luck charm when she claimed early on the lightning were going to get a "touchdown" and the bolts ended up with 6 points and a PAT to make it 7 :LMAO: Good Times (very much needed by me) for sure!Let's Go Lightning7-1-1:hockeygoon: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
