Your personal rating of Rush debut album?

I would of given it a 5, but Neil was not on the album so it is a 4.

Since Neil's not on any Cheap Trick or Beck albums, does that mean none of those get higher than a 4 also? :hail:

 

No, I am only talking about Rush albums here, nothing else.

 

I gave the first album a 4 because of the drumming. Neil's is way better.

That's one way to look at it.

What about other Rush songs that DON'T have Neil? Hope? Broon's Bane? Are they unable to reach the coveted 5 star label due to there being no Professor?

 

 

P.S. I was joking about the Cheap Trick and Beck question. But I'm not joking about the Hope and Broon's Bane question.

2 stars. Working Man and What You're Doing are the only two great songs on it. Finding My Way is ok, the rest is just meh.

Yep, pretty much this. Not bad by any means, but not overly memorable either.

Fours Stars. Debut is better than many albums on the same year and decade.

 

It's Rush since the very beggining. I love Geddy reaching those higher notes with Alex shreds, riffs and super rock guitars.
