I'm just two miles from the ocean. Yikes, stay safe! It was certainly scary for me even though I've been through many hurricanes from Jamaica, FL, SC, NC, VA to MD. This one was going to be the worst living so close to the ocean, but a wobble in the Bahamas sent it further north and we escaped the brunt of the storm. Usually once tropical systems travel north of you they are gone. But NOOOOo Matthew wants to be a pain!
