  1. The show I saw in Phoenix 2012 was perfect. After discovering the setlist changed every night, I took a look at the different songs that I could have seen but, the songs they chose to play for the Phoenix show, I would not change for the alternatives. That show was more or less my ideal setlist. Since that show was filmed too, we got to see both 'Wish Them Well' AND 'Seven Cities of Gold' which was quite a treat. So CA gets my vote.
  2. Unless they put the entire Phoenix show on those DVDs (since that was a show I was at), I don't think it will be necessary for me to own two formats of the same thing.
  3. I completely forgot Rush was even playing in Denver until a few days ago. Does anyone have any extra decently seated tickets at a decent price or know of a place for me to buy some? I don't want to be in the 300's sections because the people up there always tend to sit down the whole show and I always like to be standing up. And who knows, this might be the last time I ever get to see them live. Any help would be great, shoot me a PM or reply here. Thanks so much!
  4. QUOTE (metallithrax @ May 19 2012, 04:15 PM) QUOTE (Itty12 @ May 19 2012, 09:53 PM) I was lucky enough to be able to see the very first Time Machine show. Unfortunately that isn't the case for this tour. One thing I have noticed is people take their tour photos and slap them right onto their signatures and/or avatars (see? I'm guilty of it as well). The only problem with that is it spoils the entire experience for people. I like the enjoyment you get when you go into a venue not knowing what to expect. Everything 100% fresh, with nothing to go on but imagination and expectation. The thrill you get when a song you never expected them to play (for me that was Presto. Didn't know I was going to see that song off my favorite album being played for the first time). All of that will be ruined for me when people put the CA tour photos into their signatures. That is why I don't think I could be able to come here for the 3 months it will be before I finally get to see it. Now I know people are supposed to put in their topic titles but when people who post in all forums constantly and update their signatures constantly, it makes it impossible to not spoil anything. Not ranting about those people directly, it just gets out of hand and I cannot endure losing all that excitement I had back in 2010 in New Mexico. So when September rolls around, you wont be seeing me for awhile... So, just disable sigs in your control panel. Wow I shoulda known I could do that...

  6. You've Gotta Be Crazy Dogs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bqZFp7dWbg Two different versions of the same song! You've Gotta Be Crazy was a rough draft obviously but I find that one a little more enjoyable to listen to. It had a more intense and fast paced feel to it and was in a higher key which, to me, makes it sound a little better. What about you?

  9. I'd say somewhere in the top 19 studio albums
  10. Just made my own version of The Necromancer without the narration. Sounds a lot better to me to be honest.
  11. I think Clockwork Angels will be a total disappointment to many fans and will not live up to the expectations people were hoping for so as a result, people will come on here bitching about how bad the album is, comparing it to Snakes & Arrows saying either it was only a slight improvement to it or S&A is way better. Just a thought...
  12. Oh for the love of God. WHO CARES? I mean seriously. I keep seeing people trying to "prove" Rush is metal when in reality it's just a matter of opinion. We all joined this site for one reason and one reason only: BECAUSE WE LOVE THE MUSIC OF RUSH! Not to endlessly debate on weather they are a metal band or excessively express how much we despise Dog Years and Tai Shan.
  13. People who have doubts about it need to realize that people like Roger Waters are still extensively touring at age 68. I have no doubt in my mind that there will be a 20th studio album PLUS a full tour to follow it.
  14. QUOTE (LyndseyG @ Jan 1 2012, 03:40 PM) I would live to see them live. I did see a DVD of theirs once and went and bought one of their CDs. Just brilliant. Are you sure you wouldn't die to see them live?
