  2. Not sure what Neil is playing between 0:17-0:21, but I've never heard him play those fills like that before.
  3. What a great show last night. They really rocked it and left nothing on the table. Much tighter and a lot more energy than on Wednesday. If this was the last opportunity for me to see they live, what a lasting memory if will leave. I can't see how they could top it. And Losing It... wow! Fantastic.
  4. Thanks for the heads up on this version. Downloading it as I type. Not going in with too many expectations here but am still hoping for the best.
  5. So when do we get a remix of CA live...? Hopefully in a box set at the same time we get a remix/remaster of the studio album.
  6. Not a dumb move it you're on the shelf about getting it or not. $100 is a lot of money for some people. The decision has to be warranted and clearly it wasn't right away.
  7. Clockwork Angels - This is still my favourite tune on the album and encompases everything I love about modern day Rush. BU2B - Can't believe I haven't gotten tired of this song. I still love the aggressiveness of it and I love the lyrics. The "until our final breath, the joy and pain that we receive, must be what we deserve, I was brought up to believe" is going to be part of my left arm tattooed sleeve. Headlong Flight - Classic sounding Rush that should be a live staple for the duration of their career. The Garden - A beatuful song and another classic. My tattoo artist is designing a sleeve for my right arm that will incorporate his inturpritation of the lyrics to this song, along with the forthcoming Record Store Day artwork for it. The "the measure of a life is a measure of love and respect, so hard to earn, so easily burned" lyric will be a part of the tattoo. The Anarchist - Another great song that should be considered a classic. Carnies - Love this rocking tune. I pick this one as the most under-rated song on the album. Glad Rush did what they did with it live in terms of lighting and pyro. Hopefully it aids in getting it some respect. Caravan - Tiring of this one now, but it's still a great song. Love Neil's big drum fill. The Wreckers - One of my favourite slower Rush songs of all time. Great lyrics by Neil. Seven Cities Of Gold - I still this song but it should have been so much more. They could have taken the instrumentation a lot further on this one. I feel Neil could have done so much more during the intro and solo section. If they didn't want to in the studio, then they should have do so live. I think they played it too safe. Halo Effect - A nice little song that serves as a break from all the intensity of the previous album tracks. Works well. Wish Them Well - Still my least favourite on the album. I would have scrapped it and worked on an instrumental to add to the album instead. BU2B2 - Not really a song.
  8. Received mine on Wednesday. Mine is # 259. I pre-ordered fairly early. What number did eveyone else get?
  9. If it is true, and Rick K. and the Allnighters aren't the openning band, I'm not going! (I'm sure people have seen this video.)
  10. For the first time ever I agree with GR79. Why would you need to have both DVD and Bu-ray of the same thing. Are you expecting your Blu-ray to stop working? I think its one or the other. Save your $60 buck and you'll be 1/2 way towards the tickets payment of their next concert. For me, I will exclusively watch bluray at home, but there are times when a bluray player is not available. Sometimes I will bring a DVD to work so I can play it while doing paperwork. Sometimes I will throw in a DVD in the car if my wife and I are on a long trip (wife likes to watch), but when I travel, I always bring my portable DVD player or my MacBook. That's the reason I like having both formats.
  11. Bye bye Sweet Miracle, The Stars Look Down and Out Of The Craddle if I'm making it a 10 tracker.
  12. I'm pretty sure that the contents of the DVDs, bluray and CDs are the same as what will be commercially available, this set appears to house all 3 formats together in an exclusive LP sized portfolio book with a special unique tourbook that is only available in this set.
  13. There is an exclusive Clockwork Angels Tour package available from the Rush Backstage Club, limited to 5000 copies. Here are the details... http://www.rushbackstage.com/rushbackstage/dvd-and-video/rush-clockwork-angels-tour-limited-edition-deluxe-package.html
  14. Neil's toms were the driving force in this song for me. Unfortunately that element is now gone.
  15. While better than a 5, that DR7 rating is still not that great. Better than nothing I guess. At least it is an improvement.
